Madras cafe begins with opening scenes of John
Abraham(Major Vikram Singh) lying in his bed in
Kasauli with long beard and hair watching news
of Sri lankan President assassination,in 1994.
Soon after hearing the news Major Vikram rushes
to a nearby church and makes a confession that he
could have succeeded in saving India's ex-Prime
Minister's life.
Major Vikram on Government of India's order is
sent to Jaffina where terrorist group LTF kill
innocent people and have made ambiance
of devastation by committing terrorist activities in
entire area,this group is led by Anna also known
as Tiger.At same place Major Vikram meets
Nargis Fakhri(Jaya Sahni) who is a journalist from London.
Major Vikram in Jaffina works with S
Balakrishnan to fight against terrorism.
On the other hand Anna sends his representative
to Singapore to get high quality weapons in
Jaffina for creating terror in the region.This
meeting is held at a placed called Madras Cafe in
Singapore.
Major Vikram finds the venue of arrival of arms
arms and ammunition and reaches the location to
fight with terrorist but instead gets caught by LTF-
from here Major Vikram comes to know that one
of the Army men is hand in glove with LTF.
Major Vikram to stop further terrorism meets one
of the partners of Anna,Malaya and tells him if
he'll join hands with Government to kill Anna then
he'll have a bright future in Jaffina,Malaya with
Army's support attacks LTF,but Anna survives in
this attack and he kills Malaya for backstabbing
him and as a revenge from Government of India
make a plot to kill ex-Indian Prime Minister.
How does Anna execute his mission to kill ex-
Indian Prime Minister,how Major Vikram escapes
from LTF and which Army man is hand in glove
with LTF all those questions are answered in latter part of the movie.

On the whole the entire team of Madras cafe have
made brilliant attempt for making one of the
finest Bollywood war films ever.
